This feature was adapted from Ian McEwan’s novel and directed by Richard Eyre. Emma Thompson plays Fiona Maye, a high court judge who’s life becomes entangled with the future of a young Jehovah’s Witness when he refuses life saving therapy.
It’s more entertaining than it sounds, is superbly acted (natch) and the sets look bloody amazing.
Production designer Peter Francis tasked DRS with building these- the apartment where Emma’s character lives with her husband (Played by the always excellent Stanley Tucci) and the highly detailed court room where much of the drama plays out.
