Anatomy of a Scandal was adapted by David E. Kelley for Netflix from Sarah Vaughan’s novel of the same name. DRS was asked by designer Melanie Allen to build the two key sets for the series- the Whitehouse family home- a stylish Mayfair mansion and the detailed recreation of the Old Bailey Courtroom where much of the drama plays out.
The builds were completed under rigorous Covid protocol conditions at the end of 2020. The family home was featured in several newspaper articles with gushing tributes paid to the set decorating, architectural details and custom built fitted furniture.
