We’re DRS. We build film sets. We’ve spent years getting this right, working on memorable commercials and music videos with crazy deadlines, for some of the most demanding divas and divos who ever sat in a director’s chair.
With the tiniest of budgets, we built a completely believable cave system across multiple stages for what is still one of the scariest indy horror films of all time. We’ve gone six rounds with the worst of the weather and manhandled moving goal posts and last minute changes with aplomb and a smile.
What we’re saying is, not much phases us. We build tight, spirited teams of experts to meet the unique challenges of every job. Because every project is different. What we don’t build in-house we commission from expert makers and suppliers we trust. Through good communication and meticulous specification, we get the best out of the specialists we work with.
Nick and Jono always lead from the front. They collaborate closely with art departments and DRS department heads while our lead coordinator Lucy manages our brilliant office staff. Together they keep the most demanding projects running like clockwork. Our full-time staff and freelance teams are fiercely talented, good humoured and hard working.
