The Groundhog Day of romcoms, One Day follows the lives of a young couple who meet on the night of their uni graduation. Over the course of the next 20 years, we see them every July 15th as they grow apart – and then, perhaps, together again. Leo Woodall’s character Dex gets his big break as a presenter on a youth TV show – that looks awfully like ‘The Tube’ to us.
Patrick Rolfe designed and DRS built the ‘Get In’ set. It perfectly captures the spirit of 90’s TV, with podiums (podia?), chill out areas, a band stage and cages for dancers. Lots of lovely location work of this series as well!
