27th January 2026
Dearest readers, the wait is finally over.
This Thursday, January 29th, Netflix cordially invites us back to the Ton for the grand debut of Bridgerton Season 4, Part 1. And while the world eagerly awaits the blossoming romance of Benedict Bridgerton, we at DRS Film Sets have been polishing our own diamonds – the very sets that will bring this glittering season to life.
It’s fair to say the buzz surrounding Benedict’s long-awaited story has reached a fever pitch. After the trailer first dropped, the online world has been alight with speculation. This season promises a classic, Cinderella-esque narrative, introducing the mysterious Sophie Baek as Benedict’s love interest, a departure from the high-society matches of seasons past.
The central intrigue? A grand masquerade ball, a visual feast of opulence and concealment, where our story begins.
And what a feast it is. As the creators of these spectacular environments, we can attest to the sheer scale and ambition of this season’s production design. Under the brilliant guidance of Production Designer Alison Gartshore and Supervising Art Director Antony Cartlidge, our team has been hard at work constructing the lavish backdrops that will host the romance and drama. From the intricate details of the masquerade ballroom to the intimate corners where secrets are whispered, we’ve poured every drop of our craftsmanship into it. Our loving handiwork is on display and we couldn’t be prouder.
Netflix’s decision to split the season into two parts – with the second half arriving on February 26th – has only intensified the anticipation. It’s a calculated move, keeping the series firmly in the cultural conversation and ensuring that every glance and whispered word is dissected by its loyal fanbase.
The carriages are lined up, the masks are on, and the ballroom is ready.
The unmasking of this season’s great love story is about to begin.
We’ll be watching.
