The trailer for Netflix’s upcoming Christmas film, ‘Goodbye June’, has already been met with a wave of emotion from viewers, and we are incredibly proud to have played a role in bringing this poignant story to life.

The film, which marks the directorial debut of Kate Winslet, is set to be a major holiday release, and we were entrusted with helping build a large part of the world its characters inhabit.

Our amazing team constructed all the interiors for the film’s central location, the Princess Mary Cheltenham Hospital, at Garden Studios in Park Royal back in the summer of 2024.

The film, penned by Winslet’s son Joe Anders, features a star-studded cast including Helen Mirren, Toni Collette, and Winslet herself. It tells the story of a family coming to terms with their mother’s declining health during the Christmas season.

‘Goodbye June’ was a passion project for its creators, and we were honoured to be a part of it. The film was shot over a tight 35-day schedule, and our team worked closely with the production to ensure that every set was completed to the highest standard, contributing to the film’s overall quality and emotional impact.

DRS feel very lucky to have our work showcased in a film that will hopefully become a holiday classic.

We look forward to the film’s release in select UK cinemas on December 12 and on Netflix worldwide on December 24.
